interactive entities 2.0
Keywords: Generative Design, SubD Modelling, Sculpting, Social VR, InteractiveExperiences, Virtual Reality, Gamification, Metaverse, Unreal Engine 5.0
With the increasing relevance of the “Metaverse” and increased adoption of digital & virtual spaces in recent times, the workshop is designed for the participants to rethink and question the role of the architect in immersive virtual environments.
The students engage in the nuanced question of designing for the built environment vs designing for/the virtual environment(s).
Through the course,
A. We studied and analyze various conditions of the interactive virtual spaces
B. Design and develop generative & sculptural architectural entities
C. Finally engage with real-time world-building and coding familiar and unfamiliar interactions.
virtual entities
A studio where we collectively studied various entities such as Banks, Museums, Office Spaces, Amusement Parks and how these spaces transform when deployed in the Metaverse. Each project strives to reimagine the traditional understanding of an entity and develop a virtual immersive experience that is activated through the Sansar Metaverse Platform. Each project is highly interactive and gamified with their own goals and easter eggs to discover.

Rework // Interactions
With the emergence of spatial interactions and increased adoption of digital assets, the workshop was designed to make the participants question and rethink traditional assets. Furniture and fixtures, character and their apparael, circulation system in spaces, are all examined as we created their digital counterparts.
The workshop inspected how different a user's experience is in a virtual space as compared to the physical spaces. To name a few, teleportation, shape-shifting, audio-reaction, animated textures, and proximity detection are all topics explored during the sessions.
Participants learned to create virtual assets that are not only static 3D models, but also have code embedded in them, which allows the user to trigger certain specific interactions with these assets. The workshop completed with a 3D virtual exhibiton of the best workshop outcomes, where the team presented their "pavilions" in a custom - built virtual world.

Interactive Entities
With the increasing relevance of the “Metaverse” and an increased adoption of digital & virtual spaces in recent times, the workshop is designed for the participants to rethink and question the role of the architect in immersive virtual environments.
The participants have created VR social experiences that not only static 3D models, but also have code embedded in them, which will allow the user to trigger certain specific interactions within these spaces.
Each group has developed their own custom built virtual environment showcasing their project.

Generative Morphologies
The projects investigates post Anthropocentric scenarios towards creating Architectural systems that utilize Autonomous biological and machinic frameworks. The students analyze speculative urban contextures and deploy Autonomous agencies that develop in response to the various adversities and extreme conditions of the future. These Architectural agencies resonate with certain Architectural characteristics that oscillate between the raw and the Synthetic, natural and machinic, control and relinquishment. The projects vary between different scales ranging from macro to micro level systems. The projects operate on a Generative design-sculpting based workflow, utilizing advanced vector and mesh based computational design processes.
